i would argue that pretty high on the list would be the word “but”. rc sproul would probably agree: for years he had a pillow in his office with the word “but” embroidered on it.

…BUT God is righteous.
…BUT God is lovingly kind.
…BUT God chose to love us.
that’s the best news I’ve ever heard.
what are some other important and easily overlooked words in the bible?
I remember reading that 'money' is either the second most common word in the Bible or the second most common word spoken by Jesus. Maybe THAT'S what the Bible is really about. (I'm kidding, of course. But not about the first part, although I don't know if it's true.)
